Level: 16.90/ hr
Hours:- Sunday Roughly 12 PM - 6 PM [High Priority; Less Flex]
- Monday Possible 5 PM - 9 PM
- Tuesday Possible 5 PM - 9 PM
- Wednesday Possible 5 PM - 9 PM
- Thursday (Possible/Seasonal: Church on Thursday; 4:30 to 9:30 PM )
- Friday Day Off Unless Needed
- Saturday Roughly 8 AM - 2 PM [Flexible Hours]
NOTE: Weekday hours will be scheduled on a monthly basis, based on need and availability. Special events and additional hours will be scheduled as needed and in accordance with availability.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
This position reports directly to the Chula Vista Facilities Supervisor, who provides day-to-day direction, coaching, scheduling, and performance oversight.
SCOPE & DIMENSIONS:
The Facilities Team Member supports all ministries and departments by helping maintain a safe, clean, and functional campus. This role regularly interacts with staff, volunteers, vendors, and guests, providing excellent customer service and responding to facility-related needs.
While the position works collaboratively with all staff, all work assignments, priorities, scheduling, and performance direction come directly from the Chula Vista Facilities Supervisor.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Members of this team execute the setup, cleanup, opening, and locking up for all church activities each week. While following the direction of the Chula Vista Facilities Supervisor, team members also work with ministry staff to ensure the campus is properly maintained and service/event ready. Tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Helping ensure signs, tables, chairs, and other key items are in the proper place for services/events.
- Helping ensure the campus is ready for guests by unlocking doors, stocking bathrooms, cleaning spills, and performing light cleaning tasks (e.g., vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, etc.).
- Help resolve pressing facility issues on the property under the oversight and support of the Chula Vista Facilities Supervisor.
- Helping ensure the property is properly secured at the end of a shift.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to follow instructions and promptly seek help when tasks are unclear.
- Ability to proactively identify and solve problems with a posture of extreme ownership.
- Ability to self-lead efficiently and effectively.
- Ability to plan and execute a list of tasks.
- Ability to interact with staff and guests in a respectful, clear manner.
- Ability to identify issues requiring repair or maintenance and communicate those needs.
- Ability to self monitor your time, take breaks/lunch in compliance with applicable laws.
- Must be able to lift, move, and carry objects up to 50 pounds on a regular basis (such as tables, chairs, event equipment, and supplies).
WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a follower of Jesus Christ, actively living out their faith and aligned with the mission and values of the Community Church Movement.
- Hours will be set with the supervisor in advance.
- Work is performed in and around church buildings, offices, classrooms, restrooms, and outdoor areas such as courtyards and parking lots.
- The position requires regular interaction with staff, volunteers, and church members, always maintaining a helpful and respectful attitude.
- Church staff are required to abide by the Cultural Expectations (tithe, attendance, conduct, etc.).

- The Church reserves the right, at any time, with or without notice, to alter or change job responsibilities, reassign or transfer job positions, or assign additional job responsibilities.
- This position is classified by the Church as a Part-Time paid position and is Non-Exempt from the overtime provisions, as stated in Employee Handbook.
